Python Developer

Outside IR35 – 3 month contract with likely extensions

1 day per week in Edinburgh / London (Fully remote not possible)

Up to £500 per day

Python, Pandas, SQL, AWS

Are you a data-focussed Python Developer, with exposure to Pandas, who is comfortable managing the interchange of data between the server and users?

Do you have experience across at least one Python framework, familiarity with server-side templating languages like Jinja 2 or Mako, and some exposure to front-end technologies?

If so, you would be a strong candidate for this initial 3-month contract, with a global insurance company who have a UK presence in both London and Edinburgh.

We are looking for a Python Developer to use established patterns to extract and transform data using the Pandas library.

You will be working on this company’s flagship product, building pipelines and APIs which provide data for this application.

You should have knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments, as well as proficient understanding of code versioning tools (such as Git, Mercurial or SVN). Commercial experience working with large-scale data sets is also preferred.
